All kindergarten through eighth grade teachers are highly qualified with state teaching credentials and certificates from the Association of Christian Schools International.

All preschool employees are fully qualified Early Childhood Educators, meeting or exceeding California state regulations, including EMS certification in infant, child, and adult CPR/AED and first aid.

Substitute Teachers

Friends Christian School accepts applications for substitute teachers year-round.

K–8 substitute teachers must have:

    • a four-year college degree or completion of at least three college years
    • passed the CBEST.

Preschool substitute teachers must have:

    • twelve Early Childhood Education units with passing grades from an approved college/university.
    • at least six months work experience in a licensed child care center.
